Ed Bonilla, Director of Mission Advancement for United Way of North Carolina, represented NC 211 today at the UNC Friday Center for Our State, Our Wellbeing | Statewide Summit on Suicide Prevention. Attendees had a chance to walk through the Resource Fair, in which local organizations shared their backgrounds, efforts, and ways to get involved.
This engaging and educational convening was brought together by Carolina Across 100, the UNC Suicide Prevention Institute and other community leaders of North Carolina.
At the summit, attendees learned about community suicide prevention efforts from leaders in the field, including the CDC Strategies for Suicide Prevention framework.
